Regarding the Rio cake:

Wow-----we were blown away!  You did a great job on that pool ball cake.
The groom was so surprised.
The Angry Birds Cake:
The Angry Bird cake was unbelievable.  EVERYONE commented how wonderful it was and had more than one piece. My husband said it was by far the best birthday cake we've had this year. We've had a lot of cake because we have 6 kids, LOL!

The My Little Pony Cake:
It was sooooo good and beautiful. But most of, my husband loved it!!!!

Another Busy Week

Owl Cake

This is for a very beautiful little girl's 1st birthday!! It's a red velvet cake with cream cheese icing.

It felt a little funny writing my own name on a cake...

 So I decided to make my own birthday cake (against everyone's will) & it was the first time I used fondant, gumpaste & stacked tiers. So needless to say it was a little stressful, but I do like the way it turned out! It's simple & elegant & it's not perfect but neither am I. Enjoy =)

Red Velvet & A Retirement Cake

I am so excited, I got my very own logo,business cards & stickers for my new endeavor & I am in love with the design (from dreamlike magic). This week I am making a sample cake for an engagement party & a retirement cake for my husband's boss -- my first beer bucket cake. I am really excited my date book is starting to fill, I am learning all sorts of new things & loving every minute of it!!

Today I started on a birthday cake for a coworker who loves chocolate, so I decided to do a chocolate cake with oreo filling and chocolate icing with oreo accents. Thanks for looking.

My Hubby's Golden Birthday

Sunday is my wonderful hubby's golden birthday so today I start on his cake -- cookies and cream with sportsman fleur de lis on top (his request and since he's my biggest fan of course I've obliged).

My First Cake

I was desperately trying to find a person that could make my (er my six year olds) cake vision come to life. He requested a Saints football/Camo themed birthday party and I had this idea for a camo cake with a football on top. My sister-in-law and mother-in-law kept telling me with my creativity I could do it, so with that I decided to try it, what could it hurt right?? And here is the result:







 

So Pink Sprinkles Cakery is born and I am cake obsessed fiending for the next time I can be covered in flour and icing =)
